Her stances were stances for the right, and her sorrow was the sorrow for the cause of Islam, and her joy was the joy of the message; the depth of Islam was manifested in the depth of her personality and she amassed within herself all the Islamic human virtues. Being the Doyenne of the Women of the World, she should be at the highest level, spiritually and morally.Read more ...

It is our responsibility vis-à-vis Allah and humanity. What can we add to what he said over 1,400 years? How did the intelligent and heart feel moved and activated to understand the message and revivalism of Imam al-Husayn? I want to render an analysis and understand the holy will-power through the devotional emotions expressed in favor of Imam al-Husayn.

British Historian Arnold Toynbee
"I invite the world to follow the principle of fraternity and equality of the Islamic religion. The doctrine of unity , which came out of Islam is the greatest examples of the idea of unifying the world."
Imam Musa Bin Jaafar Al-Kadhim [A.S.]
Throughout his life before undertaking the responsibilities of imamate, Imam Al-Kadhim [A.S.], witnessed a lot of injustice practiced by the Abbasid authorities against Bani Hashim, the clan he belonged to and especially the members of Ahlul-Bait. He witnessed how Al-Mansur, the Abbasid Caliph, treated his cousins, the descendents of Al-Hasan and Al-Hussein, and how they were exposed to torture and bodily liquidation. Al-Mansur was known for his cruelty and savage practices against his opponents. In his book “The History of Caliphs”, Al-Suyooti, an Arab historian, said: “He (Al-Mansur) killed multitudes of people in order to maintain his throne”.

The Impact of Belief in Molding a Civilization
by: Sabah Jassim sabahaltalkani@yahoo.com
When we talk about the human role in molding a civilization, we shall refer to the impact of ideological depth which leads to achieving the stability of this building, its sustainability, and its contemporary impact. Human life has witnessed many cultures, each one has many characteristics which our history and archaeological discoveries transfer them. When we deal with the Islamic civilization, we cannot be denied a leading role to spread some sublime concepts. These concepts concern justice, equality, and doing good on the basis of the principle of uniformity. This principle of uniformity in turn has made a basis for all Divine religions that aspire to achieve integration of the Islamic message of humanity. All Muslim peoples contributed to crystallization of the Islamic civilization. The Islamic civilization was not shaped by only Arab peoples. Rather it was the fruit of the contributions made by all Muslim peoples, e.g., the Arabs, Persians, Turks, peoples of East Asia, Africa and other regions who melted in Islam, and crossed the barriers of their local languages and cultures. The early Muslims were able to establish a great civilization for mankind. It was because everybody was regarded on a par with one another for the purpose of spreading the message of Islam. Hence the Islamic region was stretched from the borders of China in the east to the Atlantic Ocean in the west.
If prominent Western sociologists have pointed out that civilization consists of four elements (economic resources, political systems, ethics, science and arts), it certainly means materialistic civilization, while the civilization based on the religious foundations has a lot to do with man's awareness of his belief in the Almighty God. It will work in this way and brings about a kind of commitment in regard to ethical and religious behavior. It follows that the civilization which has not anything to do with religious awareness must be an industrial and inhumane civilization. Such a civilization is doomed to disappear sooner or later, no matter how its proponents may support it. The Prophet Muhammad was the founder of the Islamic civilization; he led the human beings to the Right Path through inviting everybody to human morals. This was followed by drawing people's attention to knowledge, science, the arts, exploitation of natural resources, and creation of a society ruled on the basis of the straight social systems. Through reading about the history of Islam and the life of the Prophet Muhammad, one will make a comparison between the life of the mankind before and after the advent of Islam. Moreover, the Muslims established the Islamic civilization more or less in the way it was instructed in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and his family, all drawing upon the teachings of the
Holy Quran and the Sunna. The Prophet Muhammad tried to provide the Islamic state with an economic power, political systems, religious traditions, and ethical standards. He paved the way for Muslims to make forerunners in a variety of sciences. In consequence, the Islamic civilization witnessed a large number of scholars who were superior by far than those of any other human civilizations. If every known civilization had been characterized by highlighting just one aspect of the human life, the Islamic civilization takes pride in considering all aspects of the human character. This includes justice, tolerance, goodness, and well-being. It takes pride in following the instructions of the Holy Quran (in fact, the Divine Constitution), the Prophet Muhammad, and the Infallible Imams (from the first Infallible Imam Ali to the last Infallible Imam al-Mahdi [the final Savior of all mankind from wrong way]). They together have shown us the right and real way. In conclusion, Islam will not be as the manifestos of militants and extremists who wish for killing of Muslims and non-Muslims. Islam never endorses shedding the blood of innocent civilians. Hence, women and children are not the only creatures that make the objects of the misguided assassins who aspire to commit murders and arouse hatred.
